Reviews and Ratings
Upon arrival, I found the hotel to be conveniently situated, making it easy to explore the city on foot. The service was impressive with attentive and courteous staff. The dining experience was satisfactory, although some improvements could be made. The rooms lacked double glazing and central heating, leading to a slightly chilly stay.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, although recently refurbished about 18 months ago, had a strong smell of gloss paint that gave me a headache. Additionally, the bed was very hard and not a proper double, consisting of two singles pushed together. On the bright side, the room had a balcony and sitting area, with a very comfy bed despite the issue with its structure. The pillows, however, were hard, which affected my overall comfort during the stay.
My stay at the hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. The location was ideal for being in the heart of Salisbury, although the rooms were disappointing with dated decor and uncomfortable bed frames. The service was top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff, but the dining options were a bit lacking. Overall, a decent choice for a central stay with some room for improvement.
The hotel had its ups and downs. While the rooms I stayed in were quite dated and had a musty smell, they were surprisingly comfortable and surprisingly quiet, especially being near the road. However, the room I ended up with was the smallest and lacked the charm of the others. The service was top-notch; the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was ideal, right on the edge of town with its own car park, making it easy to explore. The dining experience was very enjoyable, with a good selection and attentive staff. Overall, it was a mixed experience but had its highlights.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of comfort and convenience. While the room was clean and comfortable, the noise from the main road side could be a bit bothersome before it quieted down in the evening. The location was excellent, right in the heart of Salisbury, making it easy to explore the city on foot. The service was friendly, although there were some issues with room readiness. The dining experience was enjoyable with plenty of options available. Overall, a nice place to stay in a great location.
